Settling in!

Hello all!

Well I have been in England for a few days now, and I must say that the area where I am staying (Milton Keynes) is nothing like Australian suburbs at all. There is a series of walkways and cycle ways all over the place that integrate each area together. It is actually not a bad system as there are a lot of open spaces.

The housing all looks the same here. Same colour, same style, same layout. No one parks in the garage as the spaces are tiny! Everyone drives hatchbacks over here. You barely see any large cars at all. I will get some pictures up soon!

Speaking of pictures. I have not bought my beloved Canon 550D yet, as the Duty Free price was still way more expensive than what I could get in the shops. So I will have to wait for the Aussie dollar to bounce back or wait until I start working before I can get my camera. So in the meantime I will be using Alana’s point and shoot camera.

Thank you all who came out to my birthday/farewell party! It was great to see you all.

I will miss you all! But I will be back in the new year and we will have a welcome home Ryan party! Woohooo!!

One week to go!

Hey everyone.

It is only one week until I fly from sunny Australia and arrive in ash covered England.
I have started the agonising task of packing! And I have sent off my resume to a few places in England.
So not long now until this blog will be full with updates :)
